edit: I mean, less waste and resources to produce (theoretically), and you don't get that disgusting scummy buildup around the spout. Plus you can see inside, so you can tell if there's lumps or anything.

But glass bottles are even better & ~retro~ Smaller too. I really hate those massive plastic 4L jugs, take up too much space and clumsy as heck.

Sorry but I've just tried so many looking for a decent, easy, fluffy recipe that is not doughy, and you won't find better than this. Add fruit/mushed bananas/whatever. Mix it all together in the same bowl, no matter, it turns out exquisite. EXQUISITE. OHMYGOD. I don't even like pancakes to be honest, but these are wonderful.

But don't wait 18 hours before gorging on them D; /forever stupid/

And don't pour too much batter on the grill, it rises like nothing else.

Also, best used with a nonstick electric grill. perfect greaseless pancakes every time.

edit n03: but if we want to get technical, I subb'd a blob of honey for sugar, grapeseed oil for vege, whole-wheat flour, & I didn't have milk so used powdered plus a bit of cream (but that doesn't matter). And no butter, of course.
